Job Description

We count on our Host / Hostess / Greeter for a number of duties. The Host / Hostess / Greeter is responsible for cheerfully greeting the guests, escorting them to their table, providing them with a menu, and answering any preliminary questions.



Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.



Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitre d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.

Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person also. A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service. Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience. Punctual, patient, and mindful. Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus. Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and seating Guests in timely manner Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations Assisting in cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables for our next guests Performing opening and closing duties Monitoring table rotations. Keeping track of prepared tables for new guests. Answering the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders.
