Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Monitor table turnover and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area
- Assist with seating arrangements during peak hours to maximize seating capacity

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, for order processing
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel or food service industry practices and standards
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Phone etiquette skills for taking reservations and handling phone inquiries
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members

Pay: $15.71 - $18.91 per hour
