We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. Answer phone calls promptly, assisting with reservations or inquiries using excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist guests with any questions or concerns, providing helpful information about the menu and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area. Utilize POS or similar systems to manage reservations and track guest flow effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in food service or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly. A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests in a hotel or restaurant setting.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
