Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Assist with phone etiquette, answering calls promptly and courteously. Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest relations. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to all guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
