About the position: The Host/Hostess/Food Runner is responsible for assisting the Dining Room Manager with the overall operation, coordination, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and waitress station and ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered. About Us: We are an upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community that provides extraordinary hospitality to our residents and guests. Our Independent Living setting offers three different dining venues: 58 fifty-five restaurant \xe2\x80\x93 Our full-service fine dining room is available for dinner service featuring a bi-weekly rotating menu. MinneHaHa Pub \xe2\x80\x93 Our fireside pub features a full bar with wine, beer, and signature cocktail service and patio seating. The Caf\xc3\xa9 \xe2\x80\x93 A casual space for coffee, bakery goods, and lighter lunch fare. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be 16 years of age or older. 2. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. 3. Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with and be tolerant of residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, subordinates and other outside contacts. 4. Trillium Woods is a LCS Community, compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position as it is for all LCS Community positions. Rate of pay starts at $15.25 per hour B.O.E.
