Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services, contributing to an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth table turnover and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about reservations and menu options. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with food service operations and guest service principles. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help colleagues when necessary and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
