Hostess

Position Summary:

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage the host stand, reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status and guest needs Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable host stand and entrance area Assist with to-go orders when needed, ensuring accuracy and proper payment Monitor dining room flow to ensure efficient seating and guest satisfaction Address guest questions or concerns and notify management when necessary Follow all company policies, dress code, and service standards

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift menus, small items, and assist with light duties

Schedule:

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $14.00 per hour
