Summary: The Front Desk Hospitality Host is responsible for screening employees and/or visitors for symptoms of COVID-19 and documenting those temperature checks for everyone that enters and re-enters the community. This position will also be responsible for answering and rerouting phone calls to the appropriate department, hosting guests with their visit from start to finish, preforming quality assurance with follow-up surveys for all visitors to ensure their satisfaction and assisting with any other reception/greeter responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take and record temperatures of everyone who enters and/or re-enters the community.
  • Ask employees and guests routine screening questions to complete the online questionnaire.
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents and the long-term care community records and information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • The ability to smile and maintain a positive attitude is required.
  • Highly enthusiastic personality with a servant\'s heart.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must be organized and possess the ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, medical personnel, and facility staff in a confidential and professional manner through phone calls, emails, etc.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service is preferred, but not required.
