We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Counter to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, providing a positive first impression.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Maintain a clean and organized host/host station, ensuring menus, signage, and waiting areas are inviting and well-stocked.
Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assist with inquiries, and manage waitlists or reservations accordingly.
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of guests and timely seating.
Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
Support food service operations by helping with basic tasks such as taking orders at the counter or assisting in serving when needed.
Uphold high standards of guest services and hospitality, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and appreciated throughout their visit.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and health protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and guests.
Collaborate with team members to create a lively, positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Experience
Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred; experience in restaurant or hotel settings is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in diverse situations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
Experience in guest relations, serving, or hospitality roles demonstrates your ability to connect with guests authentically.
Excellent phone etiquette skills for handling reservations, inquiries, and guest interactions professionally.
Previous restaurant experience helps you understand the flow of service and guest expectations.
