Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to optimize flow and minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area. Assist in managing reservations using Aloha POS or similar systems. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times. Help create a positive dining experience by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.

Experience

Previous experience in guest relations within a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous, particularly experience using POS systems like Aloha. A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service, demonstrating an eagerness to help others enjoy their dining experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
