Duties

Warmly greet guests upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating accommodations to enhance guest relations

Experience

Prior experience as a Host or Host in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services environments is advantageous Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a friendly attitude Experience with serving, guest relations, and restaurant operations will support success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
