Host / Hostess
Rate: Min-$23/hour + Tips

Reports to: Floor Manager / General Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a warm, polished, and professional Host or Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests at Noii. As the face of our contemporary Japanese restaurant, this role sets the tone for the entire dining experience. The ideal candidate is gracious, organized, and passionate about delivering unspoken hospitality from the moment guests walk through the door.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival with genuine hospitality.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow using a digital reservation system.
Escort guests to their tables with grace and provide menus and brief introductions as needed.
Answer phone calls professionally and respond to guest inquiries or reservation changes.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth dining room operations.
Monitor dining room capacity and provide accurate wait time estimates.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and restrooms.
Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
Uphold a polished and well-groomed appearance in alignment with our dress code and brand aesthetic.
Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that reflects Noii's standard of inviting elegance.
Qualifications:
Prior hosting or guest service experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional demeanor, grooming, and presentation.
Calm and composed under pressure with strong multitasking abilities.
Passion for hospitality and making guests feel valued and cared for.
Strong problem-solving and guest recovery instincts.
* Familiarity with reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus.
