Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests warmly, and ensure that they are seated in a timely manner. Your exceptional guest service skills and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu offerings, and special events. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Provide support to servers and kitchen staff as needed to enhance guest experience. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, ensuring excellent phone etiquette. Utilize Aloha POS or similar restaurant systems for managing reservations and guest information.

Experience

Prior experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations in a restaurant or hotel setting is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
