The Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host / Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations and seating, and ensure smooth guest flow in the restaurant. This is a vital role in delivering the level of hospitality that defines Mastra.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival and guide them to their tables.

Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to optimize guest experience.

Answer phone calls, provide information, and take reservations with professionalism.

Double-check to go orders accuracy before handing them to guests or delivery drivers (DoorDash, UberEats, etc.).

Communicate estimated wait times and keep guests informed.

Assist with guest flow during busy times to support servers and maintain a smooth dining experience.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.

Provide attentive, courteous service that reflects Mastra's standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a host/hostess or in hospitality is required.

Can manage seating, waitlists, phones, and guest questions simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
