Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Lancaster, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Service
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our hospitality properties. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including painting, deep cleaning, preventative maintenance, and light equipment repairs, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
- Conduct light repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and minor carpentry tasks.
- Execute painting projects and deep cleaning as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and supplies used.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Hourly Wage: $25.50-$29.50
