Harmony Hospice Care has an immediate opening for a
Registered Nurse- On Call
with Hospice experience. The position is for an after-hours on-call nurse . This is a fantastic full time position allowing the chosen candidate to work one week on followed by one full week off while still maintaining full time hours, benefits and pay. Candidate must be able to work overnights and weekends during their week on. They will respond to manage distress calls,do new admissions, provide nursing care, emotional support and education to terminally ill patients and their families. They must demonstrate clinical expertise in nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and advanced proficiency in technical skills necessary for developing, providing, and coordinating end of life care to patients. Candidate will have access to clinical support and a buddy system available in most situations.Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
Must possess a current valid Driver's license, valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation
Previous Experience: hospice, oncology or community health nursing preferred
Must be willing to travel.
Immediate opening for qualified individual. Position is salaried, full-time, one week on and one week off, Monday starting at 4:30 PM through Monday the following week ending at 8:30 AM Excellent benefits available.
