We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual support and guidance within our organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a source of comfort, counsel, and leadership for individuals facing emotional, spiritual, or crisis situations. Duties

Provide spiritual care and counseling to patients, families, staff, and community members, including bereavement support and hospice care. Lead religious services, prayer sessions, and spiritual ceremonies as appropriate. Offer crisis intervention and conflict management to address urgent emotional or spiritual needs. Develop and facilitate educational programs, workshops, and presentations on spiritual topics. Mentor individuals in their faith journeys and personal development. Assist in event planning related to religious observances or community outreach initiatives. Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate spiritual care into overall treatment plans. Maintain documentation of spiritual care activities while respecting confidentiality standards.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey messages effectively. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for leading services and educational sessions. Leadership qualities with experience in mentoring and guiding others through complex situations. Proficiency in crisis intervention, crisis management, and conflict resolution techniques. Knowledge of bereavement support practices and hospice care protocols. Ability to provide counseling tailored to individual needs. Event planning skills for organizing religious or community events. Writing skills for documentation, reports, or educational materials. Compassionate demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
