THE JOB:

The Horticulture Laborer is responsible for providing essential assistance to the horticulture team and supporting various areas of the resort properties to enhance their beauty and integrity.

THE STARTING RATE:

$19.47

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas; assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

18 years of age or older is required Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays is required
