Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Horseback Riding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equestrian sports and a commitment to educating riders of all skill levels. This role involves teaching riding techniques, promoting safety, and fostering a love for horses and riding among students. The Instructor will work closely with participants to develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of equestrian practices.

Responsibilities

Educate students on proper riding techniques, horse care, and safety protocols. Develop lesson plans tailored to individual skill levels and goals. Conduct riding lessons, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during lessons. Organize and oversee equestrian events, competitions, and training sessions. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a cohesive training program. Promote the importance of physical fitness through related activities. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the equestrian facilities.

Experience

For this position, a background in horseback riding and teaching beginners is necessary. Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Familiarity with various sports coaching methodologies, including martial arts or cheerleading techniques, is a plus. Proven ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages. A sense of humor and ability to work on a team to promote healthy and safe horsemanship practices.
