Ambrosia

is looking for a seasoned Hookah Master, who will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and serving high-quality hookahs while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires knowledge of various hookah flavors and tobacco brands, proper hookah preparation techniques, and maintenance of hookah equipment.

Required experience and skills:

2 years of experience as a Hookah Master working in upscale and high-volume nightclubs or lounges Additional experience working in upscale restaurants, bars, hotels and/or events Record of success generating sales through upselling and other techniques Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably, working knowledge of a second language Access to a wide and highly qualified local and international clientele database would be a plus
Other job requirements:

Must speak English and Russian Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry up to 25 pounds Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing and bright lights

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality hookahs, ensuring proper flavor combinations and presentation Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, workstations, and customer areas in compliance with food safety standards Operate POS systems such as CLOVER POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Manage food preparation tasks related to accompaniments, snacks, or beverages as needed Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and attentively Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers Ensure timely service in a quick-service or fast-food environment while maintaining quality standards Uphold sanitation protocols during food handling, serving, bussing, and cleaning duties Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere conducive to guest satisfaction

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
