Oregon Beach Vacations Home Specialist primary function is to ensure that the properties assigned are clean, safe, and in working order meeting Oregon Beach Vacations Standards. This is done by completing assigned maintenance work orders and completing home arrival inspections after the housekeeping team has completed the clean of the property. Areas of Responsibility and Duties
  • Inspect homes prior to arrivals ensuring level of cleanliness and working orders of amenities
  • Spot safety & cleanliness issues and address in a timely manner
  • Complete assigned daily maintenance work orders and home inspection tasks independently
  • Accurately complete required documentation
  • Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment notifying management of any vendor needed items.
  • Maintain assigned inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assist guests with troubleshooting of home issues including technology in homes
  • Assist in cleaning homes as needed to correct issues.
  • Assist in enforcing a superior level of cleanliness and standard property appearance.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required
  • Observe established policies and procedures

Qualifications Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
  • Clean Driving Record (We run a Motor Vehicle Report)
  • Available to Work Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of standard schedule
  • Participate in After Hours On-Call Program (1 week every 6 weeks)
  • Cell phone that can be used for work
  • Live in the area in which you are applying
  • Dependable Transportation
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Associate degree preferred
Skills
  • Basic Understanding of maintenance minor repairs
  • Technical computer skills and ability to troubleshoot
  • Time Management & Attention to Detail
Abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to learn and use new software and tools
  • Ability to use electronic devices such as iPad
Experience
  • 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Hotels or Vacation Rentals Housekeeping or equivalent experience
  • 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of Basic Maintenance or equivalent experience
Working Conditions This position operates in a professional environment. This position routinely uses standard tools, power equipment, cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, cell phones, and office equipment. This position requires travel from storage and office facilities to each cleaning assignment. All Oregon Beach Vacations employees are required to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, before being hired. Physical requirements This job is physical requiring constant movement 90% of the time. Lifting/moving requirements up to 50 pounds. This position requires the need to crouch, stoop and bend for 90% of the shift. Ability to move up and down multiple flights of stairs during shift. Normal workdays are between eight and ten hours, overtime may be needed based on workflow.
