Durable Medical Equipment Technician / Delivery Driver

Physicians Home Health SuperStore is a family owned durable medical equipment provider that has been in business since 1994. We pride ourselves on taking care of the durable medical equipment needs of the citizens of the Etowah and surrounding counties.

A durable medical equipment technician loads and drives either a van or a box truck and sets up & repairs oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, hospital beds and other medical equipment in the patients' home, assisted living facility, rehab facility or hospital. Candidate must educate the patient and/or caregiver in the proper use and care of the equipment. When not setting up equipment the technician assist with receiving inventory and other warehouse duties. A reasonably clean driving record and neat appearance is mandatory. Technician will work Monday through Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM and must take after-hours service calls every 3rd week. Experience with general repairs and maintenance is helpful. REQUIREMENTS: 1> Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check showing no major violations (including DUI) in the past 3 years and no more that 2 minor violations or at-fault accidents. 2> High school diploma or comparable. 3> Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. 4> Pass background check 5> Pass drug screen 6>COVID-19 vaccine.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
