Summary of Position:
In this role, you will support youth in the structured, home-like setting by creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth, life skills development, and the reinforcement of cultural values. This position offers meaningful work that directly impacts the lives of young people, along with a supportive team environment, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a heart for service and mentoring youth and mentoring youth, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain structure while building trust. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and (2) years' experience working with youth.
CPSW/CFPSW credentials or must be completed within 1 year upon hire.
CPR/First Aid/AED.
Food Handler's certification or must be certified within the first 90 days of employment.
Knowledgeable in trauma informed approaches and crises intervention.
Knowledgeable in the areas of child abuse/neglect, sexual abuse, foster care issues and protocol/procedures.
Previous experience with Native American youth preferred; must be sensitive to tribal customs and traditions and work with a diverse clientele.
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills that will enable you to work with high-risk youth and families and to focus the efforts on client's well-being and to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo goals and objectives.
Self-Starter, able to make decisions independently.
Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check such as FBI, State, Motor Vehicle, Tribal, and drug test.
Valid New Mexico driver's license with ability to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
