Job Summary
:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our home healthcare agency branch. This is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The Branch Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the branch, managing staff, and delivering exceptional patient care. You will be tasked with meeting business goals, enhancing patient satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
:
Branch Operations
:
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality patient care.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment for staff and patients.
Ensure staffing levels are adequate and coordinate scheduling to meet patient needs.
Staff Management
:
Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
Foster team collaboration and support, ensuring high employee morale and retention.
Financial Oversight
:
Assist in the development and management of branch budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with goals.
Monitor branch expenses, ensure cost-effectiveness, and identify opportunities for financial growth.
Client Care
:
Ensure patient care plans are developed, implemented, and regularly reviewed to meet individual needs.
Maintain high levels of patient and family satisfaction through continuous communication and feedback collection.
Handle patient and family concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Regulatory Compliance
:
Ensure all patient documentation and processes comply with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
Maintain a thorough understanding of home healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
Business Development
:
Assist in the growth of the branch by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with referral sources, such as physicians and hospitals.
Help develop marketing strategies to increase patient census and improve brand awareness in the community.
Qualifications
:
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role within the home healthcare industry.
Proven track record of managing teams, financials, and operations.
Strong knowledge of home healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to travel locally to meet with clients and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
