Job Summary

Galaxy personal Care Services is a Personal and Home Care Services Agency. We provide care and serves all counties in Indiana (Statewide). We are looking to expand our team of caregiver, HHA or CNA's.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes.

Duties

The ideal candidate will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL') , which includes but not limited to; Bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring assistance. Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, change bed linens), basic companionship, cooking, and medication reminders. Companions for the client Transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery store, errands etc. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Help clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.

Skills

Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary. We offer paid training. We do require you to have a TB Skin Test (in which Galaxy pays for). Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, Dependable vehicle for to and from cases and also for transporting clients. Must be able to pass a background check and be able to work at least one shift every other weekend. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial.
