We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including those with disabilities and long-term care needs. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of patient care tasks, ensuring comfort and safety in a home environment.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Support individuals with mobility challenges, helping them move safely around their home.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote emotional well-being.
Help with household tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.
Administer medication as directed by healthcare providers and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
Assist clients with developmental disabilities by implementing individualized care strategies that promote independence.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home health care or long-term care settings is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks, including taking vital signs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently while also being part of a team when necessary.
Physical ability to perform duties that may require lifting or assisting clients as needed.
