Home Health Aide (HHA)

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients in the comfort of their own homes. What you'll do

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing to help clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Assist clients with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management. Support clients with meal preparation, cooking, and dietary needs while maintaining a clean living environment. Offer companionship and emotional support, particularly for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's care needs. Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet each client's unique needs.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in patient care or caregiving roles, particularly in home health or long-term care settings. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices, including HIPAA compliance. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required.

Preferred qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring hospice care. Knowledge of memory care techniques and dementia support strategies. Previous experience using EHR systems for accurate medical record-keeping.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
