What You'll Do
Provide complete personal care for a bedridden client, including
bathing, changing, repositioning, dressing, and grooming
Assist with
incontinence care and bed linen changes
, ensuring the client's comfort and cleanliness at all times
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes promptly
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support that uplifts the client's spirit
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment through
light housekeeping and laundry, if needed
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to follow the care plan accurately
Support mobility needs using transfer techniques or assistive devices (e.g., Hoyer lift, slide sheets) if applicable
Basic Qualifications
Proven experience caring for
bedridden or total-assist clients
Ability to perform personal hygiene care, cleaning, and changing with skill and sensitivity
Strong observational skills to monitor changes in condition and comfort
CPR and First Aid certification required
Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to quality care
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in
home health, hospice, or long-term care settings
Knowledge of skin integrity, and pressure sore prevention
Familiarity with documentation and communication of client care updates
