Job Description

Always Best Care Alexandria is seeking a Registered Nurse for our in-home care company. This vital position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for preparing thorough and accurate initial assessments/reassessments and developing personalized care plans for our clients. This part-time/PRN position is ideal for someone who desires meaningful work with flexible hours.

Benefits:

Part-time/PRN position Flexible work hours (weekday, weekend, and evening hours available)

Compensation:

$75 per assessment $65 per reassessment

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluates the client's needs. Develops the plan of care and makes necessary revisions. Informs the administrator, physician, and other relevant personnel of changes in the client's condition and needs. Assists the administrator with assessing the competency of caregiver staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of client care. Supervises, educates, and coaches other personnel (i.e. Certified Home Health Aides) as directed by the administrator. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Qualifications:

Possess a bachelor's degree in nursing from a state-approved or accredited program; Must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing; Possess a valid Driver's License and able to travel to clients' homes; Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience or home care experience, preferred; Minimum of one (1) year supervising experience, preferred;
