JOB DESCRIPTION

A companion is a key member of the home care team who assists the client with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a care plan.

Qualifications:

1. Must complete the company's employment, background check, and competency process.

2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

3. Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting unspecified weights, depending on assignment requirements. Bending and stooping to prepare items/equipment for the client or managing the client environment.

4. Must exhibit mature responsible behavior, and understand the need for patient confidentiality.

5. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

6. Must be able to follow directions and accurately report to the supervisor any changes in the client's condition.

7. Must have available reliable transportation to and from assignments.

8. Must have a strong work ethic, have a desire to serve, and have good time management skills.

Duties:

The duties for this location may include, but are not limited to the following:

Assist with light housekeeping. Assist with meal prep. Assist with running errands.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
