We are seeking an
HOA Financial Administrator
to carry out financial services for our community association clients. Example services include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the resident expert for each association's finances, utilizing HOA management software AppFolio to accomplish most tasks
Assist in the billing and collection of all association assessments, charges, etc. (including following up with owners who are late/fail to pay such assessments)
Pay invoices and keep books for each community
Maintain & reconcile association bank accounts
Prepare, organize, and distribute regular financial statements
Support the development of annual budgets for each association, setting forth anticipated revenue/expenses
Support associations with end-of-year tax forms, reports, etc.
Since Reliance is still in the early stage of growth, we expect 15-25 hours per week for the next few months. However, as we acquire new clients, we see the number of hours increasing quickly over the foreseeable future, ultimately into a full-time (32 hours/week) position.
Position Requirements:
A strong moral compass to abstain from committing fraud, embezzling funds, or otherwise being dishonest or harmful to those we serve

Experience with, or genuine interest in, community association (HOA) finance
Ability and willingness to learn the AppFolio software, becoming a resident expert of sorts
Experienced in business communication: written (email, letters, agendas, etc.) and oral (phone calls, HOA meetings, etc.)
Ability to innovate and be a self-starter of sorts, capable of identifying problems and implementing sensible solutions, with minimal oversight
Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and upstanding community member of sorts
