Sheet Metal Roofer - Historic Restoration Projects

Location: Nashville, TN

The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is actively seeking a qualified sheet metal roofer with a minimum of two years of experience in metal roofing systems, including copper and other flashing components. This is a long-term opportunity with immediate openings on projects based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Position Responsibilities:

Assist with the removal of existing roofing systems and related components according to project specifications Accurately measure and fabricate sheet metal parts both in the shop and on-site Install metal roofing systems in compliance with SMACNA, NRCA, and CDA standards Perform copper soldering using traditional iron techniques Participate in daily site cleanup alongside the roofing team

Qualifications & Required Skills:

Proven experience in roof tear-off and demolition Ability to work independently and maintain productivity without direct supervision Strong understanding of sheet metal detailing and fabrication Familiarity with construction tools, roofing equipment, and basic carpentry practices OSHA 10 certification required prior to start date Must be eligible to obtain federal security clearance
