Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and ensure timely delivery to the table. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests effectively. Process payments accurately using cash registers and handle cash transactions responsibly. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with POS systems or cash registers is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
