Hiring: Part-Time MALE Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Weekends
Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am-3:00pm (5 hours/day, 10 hours/week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
DSP
to provide individualized assistance to a 38?year?old non?verbal adult male with autism. This position involves hands?on care to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity, while supporting meaningful engagement in the community. You will work closely with the guardian, who will help coordinate activities and guide care routines, ensuring continuity and respect for the individual's preferences. Candidates with experience supporting individuals with seizure disorders are strongly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): hygiene, dressing, meal routines Facilitate structured routines for comfort, consistency, and personal growth Provide meaningful learning experiences at home, tailored to interests and abilities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Patient, punctual, and dependable 2+ years' experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred Adult First Aid/CPR certification
