We are seeking a friendly and professional Hibachi On Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a lively, fine dining environment, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience. This role involves serving hibachi-style dishes with a focus on hospitality, food safety, and efficient service. Experience in food handling, POS systems, and customer relations is highly valued to deliver top-tier service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and facilitate a welcoming dining atmosphere Take and accurately relay orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Serve hibachi dishes with attention to presentation and guest preferences Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation as needed Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems Support restaurant operations including bussing tables and resetting dining areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Uphold sanitation standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or hibachi settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/host roles is advantageous
