Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support electrical installations
Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate work execution
Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
Support the setup and framing of carpentry structures necessary for electrical infrastructure installation
Follow all safety protocols related to NEC (National Electrical Code), low voltage, and high voltage systems on construction sites
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and accessible
Experience
Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems is highly desirable
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures is essential
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and basic electrical troubleshooting enhances your effectiveness in this role
Experience with low voltage wiring, NEC standards, high voltage systems, or ohmmeters is a plus
Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety guidelines
Basic understanding of frame carpentry related to electrical infrastructure installation is beneficial
Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals and develop technical skills in electrical work
