Heavy Equipment Service Technician

We are looking for employees who are reliable an can work 40-50+ hours /week depending on the schedule. Knowledge of aggregate and mining equipment (heavy equipment) will be a plus for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and inspect new and used machines or equipment to diagnose defects and proper running Report each service call or repair job upon completion and at the site, giving the customer required information and correct detail for invoicing to the main office Adheres to MSHA and OSHA regulations at all times and is aware of and exhibits safety precautions on the job. Maintain and cleans shop area, shop and field equipment according to company standards. Conducts self in a professional manner with the customers and company associates. Performs other service tasks as they may be assigned by the service manager. Some overnight travel may required for large projects.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to work Independently CDL - Class B license required Candidates are expected to have a clean driving record and will be required to pass a DOT physical. Technical Trade School and experience in hydraulic and electrical circuits focusing on quarry equipment Ability to communicate and work with fellow employees Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, climbing, crawling, pushing/pulling Reading, math, computer and language skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
