Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced

Heavy Equipment Operator

to join our growing field team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment such as

excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and skid steers

. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing site preparation and earthwork operations on commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment for excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement. Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions. Maintain and inspect equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety. Work alongside other crew members to complete projects on schedule. Follow all company and OSHA safety standards. Support other field tasks related to hauling, clearing, and erosion control as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a civil or site development environment. Strong knowledge of excavation, drainage, and grading procedures. Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required). Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
