Overview

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. Skill set in operating excavators, skid steers, telehandlers and trucks are needed! These positions require the individual to work both inside and outside in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility in scheduling due to the unpredictable nature of the weather and other circumstances. I'm looking for people who have experience working in concrete and excavation construction, and are organized, takes initiative, and has a strong work ethic. This is a traveling position and YEAR ROUND. Travel days are M-F with weekends home. Travel time paid both ways and also Per Diem paid for days worked. Single man per hotel room - company provided. Most commercial site locations are in New York State.

Will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

Competent and proficient operation of excavators, skidsteers, telehandlers and various types of construction trucks Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner. Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenace needs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specs. Adhere to project plans and blueprints to ensure accruate execution of tasks.

Skills

CDL Class A is strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
