Responsibilities

Skillfully operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction equipment to perform tasks including grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation. Manage the operation of specialized dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and train cars. Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance checks to maintain optimal performance. Follow project plans and specifications accurately while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment across the site efficiently. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspection reports, and operational records for accountability and compliance purposes. Assist with site setup and cleanup activities as needed to promote a safe and organized work environment.

Communicate

effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress or any operational issues that arise during shifts.

Experience

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks.
