Responsibilities:

As an

Heavy

Equipment Operator

, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:Operate heavy construction equipment, including: backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers & other types of machinery Ensure maintenance of these as required. Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field Read and understand utility locates and above ground utility indicators to ensure the safety of the crew and a high level of productivity Work alongside the crew to spot dig and assist with other project requirements as needed

Qualifications:

About You:Safety is a part of your day to day with a track record of completing high quality work You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site, preferrably around utilities, including: + Mini Excavators
+ Conduit Plows
+ Directional Drill (a plus)
+ Locating (a plus)
You have a valid Driver Lincense with a clean driving record, the past 3 years (DOT and CDL preferred) You have current CPR and or OSHA Certifications (preferred)

MOS Codes 12N, 12V, 21E, and 21J relate well to this position.
