Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all operations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to operate multiple types of equipment to support large-scale projects.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with site preparation, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and transporting equipment or materials across the construction site. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery. Construction site experience is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks is a plus. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites and the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently. Physical capability to handle demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment for extended periods.
