Duties

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately perform repairs Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues within HVAC systems. Perform repair tasks to restore or enhance system functionality. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems when required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, Residential and, Commercial. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles Ability to operate diagnostic tools Field service experience with a focus on air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical maintenance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments requiring mechanical expertise
PLUS

Refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration, and HVAC/R systems is highly desirable

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
