Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining furnaces, air conditioning units and related equipment across various property types. A valid driver's license is required for this position. The technician will work on-site performing hands-on repairs and installations to ensure optimal climate control solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioning systems, and HVAC equipment. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment to ensure efficient operation. Install new HVAC units, including ductwork, piping, and electrical connections in compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repair or replacement as needed. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for installation and service projects. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary. Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance or issues. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC or mechanical systems when required.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role with a focus on furnace and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. Experience with equipment repair and boiler maintenance. Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical wiring, and property maintenance practices. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Field service experience is highly desirable. Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites. Mechanic experience or prior work in maintenance roles will be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
