Job Description

Job Summary:

The Health Unit Coordinator/Monitor Technician role is a unit support position, under the direction and supervision of the charge nurse and accountable to the Clinical Coordinator and Manager.



Required Qualifications:
Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment for positions utilizing cardiac monitor technicians. Require minimum of two (2) years employment at SMHCS with a satisfactory work record and no corrective actions.


Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer expert interpersonal skills. Prefer basic knowledge of commonly used computer applications and MS Office equivalent. Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.
