We are now hiring ambitious, motivated Health Pro Consultants to work in our team focused, premier healthcare navigation business. In this role, you will be leveraging acquired knowledge to deliver high quality customer interactions that are consultative and lead to better healthcare outcomes. As a Health Pro Consultant, you can expect the following:
  • When you start, you will receive up to 4 months of extensive health care training, ranging from basic health care terminology to advanced medical procedure cost analysis, to ensure you are equipped to consult members on complicated healthcare matters. This includes understanding medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits.

  • You will serve as a patient advocate daily by representing the patient from all angles of the healthcare industry, including provider research, high-quality care recommendations, cost comparisons, and medical bill processing analysis. This research involves using trained methodologies, navigating internal tools and applications, as well as making external phone calls, partnering with insurance carriers and providers to resolve customer requests.
  • The scope of work is dedicated at the employee level and you will have the opportunity to help clients on complex healthcare issues by taking incoming calls via a call center application while simultaneously completing research and communicating with customers directly.
  • You will be responsible for utilizing exceptional communication and problem solving skills to understand and solve complex client needs, resulting in a better experience for the employee\xe2\x80\x99s entire healthcare journey.
  • Beyond your initial training, you will be aligned to client accounts to not only support their employees, but to also share insights back to the client to help them drive forward their benefits strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • You must permanently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills- Can articulate and convey complex concepts both verbally and in writing
  • Strong ability and desire to learn continually in a changing environment
  • Ability to manage challenging tasks and multiple projects effectively
  • Address customer requests to ensure that contract service levels and objectives are met
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills
  • Ability to efficiently organize work activities to meet deadlines
  • Passion to provide the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Ability to receive and immediately apply constructive feedback to improve service delivery
  • Passion for helping others and develop relationships based on empathy and trust.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous healthcare setting experience
  • Previous benefits and/or HR experience
  • Previous call-center/customer service experience
  • Permanent resident in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $35,600.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $56,600.00/year (for full-time employees).
