Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health Insurance Premium Assistance Program Supervisor to lead and support the day-to-day operations of the HIPP/Premium Assistance program. This role involves eligibility verification, case management, and customer service, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in healthcare or insurance programs, and a passion for helping individuals access the benefits they need.
Your role in our mission

• Provide enrollment assistance and program information to Medicaid-eligible recipients and their families.
• Supervise and support team members responsible for processing applications and program-related tasks.
• Verify, document, and investigate healthcare coverage for Medicaid recipients and their dependents.
• Assist in identifying members eligible for the HIPP/Premium Assistance program.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls and resolve member inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Manage accurate and timely data entry, case updates, and reporting activities.
• Monitor open enrollment, premium review, and payment processing to ensure program growth and compliance.
• Generate and review periodic reports to support program performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain program integrity and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, healthcare, or government-sponsored programs.
• Experience with eligibility, enrollment, or premium assistance programs preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or call center experience (inbound and outbound).
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

What you should expect in this role

• This position is remote; however, candidates must live within the Atlanta metro area to be considered.
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $50,600.00 - $72,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
