Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at the Kansas Learning Center for Health! We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Health Educator to facilitate interactive classes, foster a positive learning environment, and promote a supportive and engaging educational experience for all students. This role involves some overnight travel during the school year.
Job Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning & Instruction: Create engaging lesson plans and facilitate interactive classes, workshops, and training sessions
Program Development & Delivery: Collaborate with education staff to develop, design, and deliver high-quality health education programs
Marketing & Promotion: Assist with marketing, promotion, and data analysis to support program growth and outreach
Program Evaluation: Gather data to assess program impact and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
Program Management: Maintain accurate records, inventory, and materials, and ensure a positive learning environment
Community Engagement: Support outreach efforts, including events and activities throughout the year
Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate versatility in taking on various tasks and adjusting to shifting priorities
Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in Education or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated team player with strong organizational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other educational technologies
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
Capable of performing tasks that require moderate physical activity, including bending, standing, and lifting
