BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER SERVICES
The Substance Use Disorder Services (SUDS) Program leads efforts in our community to prevent and reduce the impact of substance use disorders by developing, administering, and implementing evidence based approaches to youth prevention, treatment, and recovery programs in El Dorado County.
YOUTH PREVENTION COORDINATION IDEAL CANDIDATE
El Dorado County is seeking a SUDS Youth Prevention Coordinator to join our team in Placerville. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and those that support youth such as teachers, counselors, school resource officers, and volunteers while in a school, counseling center or other community setting. This person will be able to research and present information regarding local and county assessments, data and trends and develop and implement target strategies that are focused on the prevention of substance use among our youth.
Our ideal candidate is an energetic and compassionate community leader, is comfortable with public speaking, and has excellent written/verbal communication skills. This person should possess high organization/administrative skills with great time management. This individual is highly relational and flexible, able to handle confidential information while being organized and able to meet documentation deadlines.
