Description

The Head Cheer Coach provides, coaching, leadership, vision, strategic planning to the Snow College Cheer Program, as well as managing the Mascot Program.

Qualifications

  • Preference with be given to applicants with an Associate\'s Degree or higher Preference given to applicants with coaching experience
  • Must have or be willing to get safety training certification
  • Must demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Must be responsible
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be a creative problem solver
  • Must be able to pass a background check
Major Responsibilities/Duties
  • Management of each team member\'s academic success
  • Mentor the student athletes
  • Teach class and develop skills for a high level, NJCAA cheer program
  • Recruit student cheer athletes
  • Budget management which includes the expectation of revenue generation
  • Adhere to the policies set forth by direct supervisors and Athletic Director, as well as Snow College, the SWAC Conference and the NJCAA
